CElebrating over 20 years of dedication to our community
The theme of this year's fundraising Hispanic Gala is “Passport to Travel” in support of the educational programs of the Virginia Hispanic Foundation (VHF). Corporate, community, volunteer, philanthropic, and political leaders, will all join together for this culturally inspired fundraising event at Dover Hall Estate on October 20th culminating Hispanic Heritage Month activities. The Hispanic Gala supports the work and mission of the Virginia Hispanic Foundation.
The funds raised at the gala provides support to the Virginia Hispanic Foundation’s core programs which include:
1. Pasaporte A La Educación programs help Hispanic youth in elementary, middle, and high school stay on the path to higher education or skill set certification to decrease the dropout rate, and prepare our future workforce through bilingual leadership sessions with mentors, educational excursions, and career exploration.
2. The Business Center providing bilingual counseling and educational programs in starting or growing their business, career exploration, plus job placement through our TrabajaVa platform for job seekers and employers.
3. Legal Assistance Clinics for low-income individuals with Immigration and civil issues.

This year's auction will feature the opportunity to bid on amazing vacations to help raise funds for our foundation's core programs and hopefully change the lives of many.

From the beginning of this pandemic, the health and safety of our community members and staff has always been our #1 concern. We have embraced both state, local, and CDC recommendations and guidelines for all our events since March of 2020, and we will continue to follow these guidelines in all future events.

Face coverings/masks are recommended by the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) and the Virginia Department of Health primarily to slow the spread of COVID-19 by reducing the spread of the virus.
